AUTUMN FLOWERS

MASTERTON SOCIETY’S SHOW TOMORROW. SOME NOTABLE VISITORS. Tomorrow's outstanding attraction will undoubtedly be the Masterton Horticultural Society’s Autumn Flower Show to be held in the Municipal Hall. The secretary, Mr E. K. Eastwood, reports that exceptional • entries have been received and visitors to the show can look forward to a feast of beauty. The society is indeed fortunate, for Mrs Knox Gilmer has consented to open the Show officially at 2.45 p.m., and Lord Nuffield, the eminent philanthropist will be present and will present the W. A. Burling Cup and trophies won in the garden competitions. The doors will be open in the afternoon at 2 o’clock and the show will also be open in the evening.
