Miss A. M. Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:— Barograph, 30.91. Shade temperature: Maximum 81.9, minimum 46.5, terrestrial 39.1. Sunshine, 11 hours 14 min. General situation: Although slight depression crossed the South Island last night conditions remain settled over the Dominion. Depression is still centred off New South Wales coast. Forecast: Light to moderate and variable with south-east to north-east predominating. Weather: Fair to fine with low cloud and possibly some mist or fog in the morning. Temperatures mild to warm.
