When ironing a long table-cloth on a short table fix a piece of string across the end of the table. Slip the first part that you iron under the string and let it go through almost to the floor. Then as you iron, section by section, fold the cloth over the string. In this way the work will be kept uncrushed and clean, and no part can droop over to the floor.
