FEILDING SALE
TONE DULL & BIDDING LIFELESS (By 7 elegraph—Press Association.) FEILDING, March 4. A smaller yarding of store sheep came forward at the Feilding sale to a fair attendance of the public, states a report of the associated auctioneers. Taking the sale right through, the tone was dull and bidding was lifeless. In the store lambs, considering weather conditions at present prevailing, sales on the whole were satisfactory. The breeding ewes were in keeping with the lower export rates, with prices easier. A medium entry of fat sheep showed a slight drop, while a good entry of fat cattle were hard to quit. Boner and dairy cattle showed little alteration in values.
