Lilt: jriuimcb uuluety. The action of the Swimming Club’s Committee, is to be most heartily commended. It is hoped that the public will attend this meeting in full numbers and by so doing show their appreciation of the club’s fine public spirit. An exhibition swim by the club’s three representatives to the Wellington Provincial Championships- will be an item worth seeing. The representatives are L. Maguire (backstroke), F. Milne (breaststroke), and T. Major (intermediate freestyle.). The inter-house relay (4 men per team), will again receive prominence on the programme and all business houses are invited to enter a team for this eVent.

A club member has been challenged by a fellow member for a contest in “awkward diving.” This should lend a touch of humour to the evening’s entertainment. An inter-collegiate girls’ freestyle race is also included and the following colleges will be competing: St. Matthew’s, Solway and Wairarapa. The following is the full programme of events:—so yards junior boys’ club championship; 25 yards junior girls’ club championship; junior boys’ and girls’ dive (back dive compulsory); 50 vards dual relay; 50 yards inter-col-legiate girls; 75 yards intermediate club championship; 50 , yards ladies’ club championship; .100 yards senior men club championship; 100 yards senior men breaststroke club championship; senior dive (back dive compulsory); ribbon dive; exhibition swim (L. Maguire, T. Major and F. Milne); 75 yards open handicap medley (25 yards freestyle, 25 yards backstroke and 25 yards breaststroke); 100 yards interhouse relay; 25 yards mystery race, open for all.
