The senior squad of gymnasts had had a busy month, their services being sought for a display at the A. and P. Show and in connection with the Keep Fit Week programmes of the Masterton. The squad also had two other engagemenats ahead —one in connection with the forthcoming carnival and the, other at the Martinborough Horse Sports. Equipment was provided and rooms made available for 47 meetings in-February—2l more than for the same month of last year. The secretary of the Institute for the Blind wrote conveying thanks to the association for equipment placed at. the disposal of its helpers. A number of removals from membership were authorised. The general secretary was instructed to have printed 1000 copies of a circular to be used during the carnival, for the purpose of supplying information concerning the Y.M.C.A. to the general public. Annual meeting business occupied the attention of the meeting for some time, and it was decided to hold the meeting on Thursday, March 30, at 8 p.m. After having served for the period prescribed by the constitution, Mr J. A. Kennedy became due to retire. The directors, however, nominated him for re-election. There were two other vacancies c.n the directorate and directors undertook to interview two citizens for nomination. Messrs • Clarke, Coddington and Bate were appointed a committee to prepare the annual report.
