DETAILS OF YESTERDAY’S SALES. The following sales were recorded on the Dominion Stock Exchanges yesterday:—

GOLD MINING RETURNS. The Mossy Creek wash-up totalled 370 z lOdwt for 130 hours, from 8570 yards. The pontoon of the new Ngahere gold dredge is almost ready to be launched, and it will be afloat next week. The installation of the machinery will then be completed. The last return from Golden Sands amounted to 340 z lldwt. This was obtained from the work done while opening up the paddock at the new tables site. Sluicing operations are at present suspended while the elevator is being sunk to a lower level. Good progress has been, made with this work, and it is expected that sluicing will shortly be resumed.
