SWIMMING TESTS

BIDEFORD AND KOPUARANGA SCHOOLS. Several pupils of the Bideford and Kopuaranga school qualified for swimming certificates 1 at the C. and A. Baths yesterday. The Bideford children, who were in charge of their teacher, Miss Carter, qualified for certificates as follow:— 220yds: Audrey Chapman, Nora Oliver, Patricia Percy. 50yds: Graham Donald, Selwyn Donald. Gordon Oliver. 25yds: John Donald, Sylvia Oliver. Joseph Percy and Joan Greeks, two beginners, made good progress. Two pupils of the Kopuaranga School, Daisy Fenemon and Georgina Manihera qualified for 50yds certificates. They were in charge of Miss M. J. Kane, teacher. _
