(“Times-Age” Special.) Croquet Championships. Mrs Saunders won the A grade championship of the Featherston Croquet Club, defeating Mrs Holland ih the final. In the A grade championship of the Haunui Club Miss Nix beat Mrs Wakely, 23/26, 26/16, 26/25; Mrs Hankers beat Mrs Wakely, 26/23, 18/26, 26/13. . Euchre Tourney. The Home and School Association’s euchre tournament was held on Tuesday evening, when the attendance was good. ■ The winners were: —Ladies: Mrs Rewai, 1; Mrs Chas. Buck, 2. Lucky number, Mrs Kinsey. Men: Mr A. Crawford, 1; Mr A. Jury, 2. Lucky number, Mr Strang.. Personals. Mr J. Barraclough, Cross Creek, leaves today 'on transfer to the Railway Department at Frankton Junction. Mr Baker, Aramoho, is spending a few days with Mr Chas. Buck. Miss Eva Card is visiting Wellington. < Mrs Algar Williams, and her daughter, Belinda, left by the South boat last night for Christchurch.
