MASTERTON STOCK SALE
PRICES FOR EARLY LOTS. Before a good attendance of buyers a large offering of sheep was brought forward at the Masterton stock sale today. The sale was late in starting, and buyers were keeping to limited bids. The offerings were not of the usual quality, being affected by the dry weather. The following realisations give an indication of values:—A/c IVI. I). McGregor, 579 wethers at 15s 9d; a/c R. B. Madden, 183 2-4th wethers at 15s 4d; a/c R. B. Madden, 101 2-1 h welders at 14s 2d; a/c M. D. McGregor. 68 wethers, at 14s Id; a/c N. Groves, 60 E.F. lambs at 9s.
