TOURING CRICKETERS
SIR JULIEN CAHN'S TEAM. MATCH AGAINST COLLEGES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) OAMARU, This Day. A match commenced this morning between South Island Colleges and Sir Julien Cahn's Eleven. The weather is dull with a light drizzle. The outfield is wet but Ihe wicket is in excellent order. Sir Julien Cahn’s team won the toss for the first time during the tour. Dyson and Dempster opened to the bowling of Cameron and Bennett. When he was ten Dyson gave a hard chance at midoff off Bennett. Otherwise the batsmen were not troubled.
