OBITUARY
MRS F. THOMPSON. The death occurred in the Masterton Hospital last night of Mrs Sarah Elizabeth Thompson, wife of Mr Frank Thompson, of 4 Elizabeth Street. The late Mrs Thompson, who had been in ill health for some time past was 84 years of age. She had resided in Masterton and district for many years. The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving the late residence for the Masterton Cemetery at the conclusion of a service commencing at 2.30 p.m. The late Mrs Thompson, who came to Masterton from Greymouth about 30 years ago, resided for a number of years at Ahaura, Westland, where her husband followed farming pursuits. She was well-known and highly respected among a wide circle of friends in Masterton, who will learn with deep regret of her death. She is survived by her husband a family of four daughters, Mesdames J. Pritchard (Wellington), C. Booth (New Plymouth), F. Angel (Christchurch) and W. Kyle (Christchurch) and five sons Messrs D. Jellie (West Coast), J. Jellie (West Coast), J. Shaw (Hokatika), R. Jellie (Christchurch) and C. Jellie.
