Ministerial members of the State Parliament feel that the Federal Government would be wise to lift the embargo on New Zealand potatoes in or der°to protect the consumer from “excessive prices.” The State Premier (Mr B. S. B. otevens) who has for some time been urg ing the Federal Government to permit New Zealand potatoes to enter Australia, stated that he would, again urge the Commonwealth authorities to do so.
