TWO FEATURE PROGRAMME. “Public Wedding” and “Telephone Operator,” will be shown finally at the Cosy Theatre tonight. TOMORROWS ATTRACTIONS. '“Hot Money,” Warner Bros, newest comedy opens at the Cosy Theatre tomorrow, with Ross Alexander and Beverly Roberts in the leading roles. The picture is a riot of laughs with a delightful underlying romance. The theme is based on the “wild cat” promotion schemes of the days of easy money, and in this instance is the sale of stock in an organisation formed to sell a liquid concentrate, which added to water, will make a substitute for gasoline that will run an automobile twenty-five miles per gallon at the cost of one cent. Stock is sold quickly to a gullible public, but the company gets into hot water with the Better Business Bureau. The second feature, “Crime Unlimited,” is a story of London’s G-Men, and was adapted from the best-selling novel by David Hume. It runs the gamut of thrills and excitement. The plot tells of the efforts of Scotland Yard to track down a criminal gang whose daring exploits have aroused public indignation. Esmond Knight, whose forthright personality fits him ideally in his role, appears as a young detective who undertakes the perilous mission of exposing the leader. He joins the gang by committing a particularly daring jewel robbery. Nevertheless, his path is beset with perils. Maddick, the brains behind the organisation, is careful never to disclose his identity, and his underlings are blindfolded whenever appearing in his presence to receive instructions. Romance enters when Esmond Knight meets Natascha, a Russian girl working for the gang. A victim of circumstances, she is eager to escape from its toils but sees no opportunity.
