WEEKEND FIRES

BRIGADE RECEIVES FOUR CALLS. The Masterton Fire Brigade Teceived calls to three grass and one rubbish fire during the weekend. Little damage was done. At 3.35 p.m. yesterday the brigade answered a call to a house in Wrigley Street occupied by Mr J. Thornton, junr.. where it was found that a quantity of rubbish was burning close to a shed. The brigade quickly had lhe outbreak under control.
