LATE POPE’S WILL
ALL GIFTS LEFT TO HOLY SEE. BEQUESTS TO RELATIVES AND ATTENDANTS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 9.45 a.m.) ROME, February 24. The late Pope’s will was opened today. The value of his estate has not been revealed. He bequeathed to the Holy See everything received as Pope in the form of gifts and acquisitions. He made bequests, from private property, to members of his family and personal attendants, with a residue to charity.
NAME OF SUCCESSOR. ANNOUNCEMENT PLANS. ROME, February 24, The cardinals have decided that the name of the new Pope will not be broadcast before the announcement from the Vatican balcony.
