General situation: Anti-cyclonic conditions are very persistent over New Zealand and there has been little change of pressure. A shallow depression covers the western Tasman Sea. Forecast: Light to moderate and variable winds at first with north-wester-lies later predominating and freshening. Weather: Fair to fine and warm.
