WOMEN’S DIVISION DISPLAY AT CARTERTON SPLENDID ENTRIES RECEIVED. COMPLETE LIST OF AWARDS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Carterton branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union held a very successful Horticultural and Industrial Show in the Band Room. Holloway Street, yesterday. The branch is to be commended on the excellent exhibition ■ and the beautiful flowers and vegetables that were on view. Mrs Maitland, president, and Mrs S. Swan as the division’s energetic secretary, together with an untiring executive worked very hard for the success of the show, which was outstanding' in every respect. There was a large attendance of the public and the ladies’ committee which was in charge of the afternoon tea room arrangements was kept very busy. The judges were Mrs A. F. Pink and Mrs J. McKenzie, cooking and flowers; Mr J. Standen, fruit and vegetables. The thanks of the division are due to them for their work. Following is the list of award: — FLOWERS.
