Miss Ashwell, of Short Street, is visiting Wanganui. Mr and Mrs W. H. Saunders, of Masterton, are visiting the South Island. Mrs Hornblow, of Wellington, is spending a holiday in Masterton. Mr and Mrs L. T. Wylie, Masterton, are weekend visitors to Wellington. Mrs A. Bamfield, Casel Street, has returned from a holiday in Auckland. Miss Moira Walpole, of Wanganui, has taken up duty at Solway College, as art mistress. Miss Latham, of Napier, who has been spending a holiday with Mrs F. Corry, Dixon Street, has returned home. The many friends of Mrs Corran Perry, Penrose, will be pleased to learn that she is making a good recovery in Glenwood Hospital from her recent illness. Mr and Mrs I. I. McGregor, of Masterton, who have been on an extended tour overseas, are returning to New Zealand next week. They expect to arrive n-. Wellington on Tuesday by the Awatea.
