THE GAME OF BASEBALL

(To the Editor). Sir,—Baseball is becoming a very popular sport in this town, as there are over seventy players.. As a player who does not wish to see this sport lose its popularity here, I would like to make a suggestion to the Baseball Association. The selectors for the representative team are players and naturally select themselves and committee members. Among -them are. several players who do not play up to the standard of players who were not selected to play last night. In conclusion I would like to suggest that in the near future the committee elect a selector who understands the rules, and is not a player,l am, etc., FAIR PLAY. Masterton, February 24.
