The Gore Racing Club’s Jubilee meeting opened in fine windy weather, before a large crowd. The track is in excellent order after dry weather. Results:— GORE HIGHWEIGHT HANDICAP, BJf. 2/1 Master Dingle 1 3/4 Counterflight 2 5/5 Our Pal 2 Scratched: Chirp, Bilbao. Won by a nose, two leiiglhs between second and third. Time, 1.52. LONGFORD HACK HANDICAP, 6f. 4/4 On Call * 1 1/1 Spendthrift 2 2/2 Spanish Lad 3 Scratched: Disband. Boaform, Guste, Violenta. / Won by a length and a half, a length between second and third. Time, 1.14 2-5.
