ANTICIPATED IN BRITAIN LABOUR PARTY DISSENSION. EXPULSION OF SIR S. CRIPPS. (Independent Cable Service.) LONDON, February 23. The “Evening Standard” says that the Labour Party is beginning forthwith a purge of supporters of Sir Stafford Cripps' and the Popular Front policy. \ A split in the Socialist ranks is considered inevitable as a number of the big unions are expected to line up with Sir Stafford, who was recently expelled from the party for advocating an understahding with other opponents of the Government.
