THE BOMBING OF BRITISH TERRITORY. COMPENSATION TO BE PAID. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright TOKIO, February 23. The Foreign Minister, Mr Arita, called on Sir Robert Craigie, British Ambassador, and conveyed an apology for the bombing by Japanese planes of British territory near Hong Kong on Tuesday. Foreign Office circles state that compensation will be paid.
