COCKTAIL PARTY
GATHERING AT “NGARANUI.” “Ngaranui,” Martinborough, the home of Mr and Mrs H. W. Blundell, was the scone of a delightful cocktail party recently when many friends were entertained in honour of Mr and Mrs Geoffrey Blundell, who have just returned from their wedding tour. The rooms were charmingly decorated with massed bowls of hydrangeas and early autumn flowers. Mrs Blundell received the guests. Miss Lorna Blundell, who assisted her mother, wore a frock of floral silk. Mrs Geoffrey Blundell chose a suit of navy silk with touches of white at the neckline. Many of the guests finished the evening by attending the Masterton Aero Club’s cabaret dance.
