meeting at showgrounds TOMORROW. KEEN & EXCITING SPORT EXPECTED. Tomorrow will see the third tin hare meeting of the season to be held at Solwav by the Wairarapa Coursing Club. Good nominations have been received and the racing should be even and exciting. The first event is timed to start promptly at 2 p.m. s The main event on the programme, the cup race, has drawn a select field Messrs McGrath and Cooke, of Wellington, who have a “leg in” for this trophy, have three nominations. Card Sharper should be their best performer. while the local challengers will be Rercatu, who will .be the favourite of the Masterton supporters, ano The Trump, a splendid young dog who may find his first attempt in oner company a little strenuous. Excellent fields have been received for both the Maiden Hurdles and Open Hurdles. Those two events alone are worth going a long way to see. as the greyhounds have a style and grace ah their own in clearing the obstacles.
