CRASH INTO TRUCK

MOTOR-CYCLIST BADLY INJURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association ) PALMERSTON N„ February 22. Severe injuries were received by Mr Jack Dansby, a young motor-cyclist, of 604 Ferguson Street, Palmerston North, in an accident which occurred in Main Street East at about 8 a.m. today. A truck driven by Mr William Angus Johnston, machinery service foreman, had stopped about two chains past the foundry with the intention of backing into the yard, when the motor-cyclist crashed into the back of the vehicle. He was removed to hospital suffering badly from shock and with broken ribs and possibly a compound fracture of the leg. His condition is serious.
