COMPENSATION TO WIDOW & CHILDREN. JUDGMENT BY CONSENT. (By Telegranh—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. In the Arbitration Court today the Wellington City Council consented to a judgment providing for the payment of £ 1000, as compensation and £2l 12s Gd as funeral expenses, to Esther Elizabeth Liddy and her two children, arising out of the death of her husband. Frederick Charles Liddy through a blasting accident at Moa Point on September 27 last. Costs of ten guineas were allowed.
