OLD CHAPEL

+ FRENCH RELIC RESTORED. The Chapel of the Trinity, claimed to be the oldest in Western Europe, on the island of- Saint Honorat, the smallest of the Islands of Lerans, near Cannes, has just been restored. This chapel was built in the first years of the fifth century of our era. It is built in three parts, like the leaves of a shamrock, and has a curious conical cupola. The monastery of Saint Honorat, which it adjoins, has been rebuilt, and the closter and refectory, of Romanesque architecture, are the only parts extant of the ancient edifice. The monastery is inhabited by monks, as in days of old. and can be visited, but only by men. _____
