POLISH POLICY

PREMIER VISITING PARIS SIGNS OF TURN AWAY FROM AXIS. BECK GOING TO LONDON NEXT MONTH. (Independent Cable Service.) (Received This Day, 10.20 a.m.) WARSAW. February 21. The Premier, M. Felicjan SlawajSkladkowski, has gone to Paris on a secret mission. It is expected that there will be military staff talks and also an exchange of views with France regarding the European situation and Italy’s claims to Corsica, Tunis and Jibuti. The premier’s visit precedes Colonel Josef Beck’s journey to London at the end of March. Informed circles believe that these visits are in conjunction with the signing of a now trade pact between Russia and Poland and indicate that Poland is turning from the Berlin-Rome axis to England and France.
