THE GREAT NICOLA
0 TO APPEAR AT THE REGENT. Sir Benjamin Fuller has succeeded in including the "Great Nicola” to visit Masterton on Wednesday, March 1, when he will appear at the Regent Theatre with his new international company of entertainers. This will make Nicola’s fourth tour of this country, and incidentally his last, as he has definitely decided to make this his farewell tour of the world, at the con-' elusion of which he will return to the United States and retire to his estate, where he will devote the remainder oi his life to writing and research work. It has been over 25 years since Nicola made his first visit to this country, and almost ten years since his last visit. During the interim, Nicola has been appearing in the principal cities of Europe and America, and has from time to time added many new and startling effects to his show. One of his lately perfected sensations is the age old myth of India, “the famous Hindu rope trick.” For half a century, magicians all over the world have been trying to reproduce this fabled mystery, and leading journals throughout the world have offered substantial rewards to anyone that could successfully produce this seemingly unfathomable myth, and Nicola will definitely produce this great Indian spectacle on his visit here. Many other new and startling features will be presented. The box plan will open at Messrs Nimmo and Sons tomorrow (Wednesday ).
