WEDDING

BUSCH—THOMAS. (“Times-Age” Special.) A wedding of considerable interest to residents of the Pirinoa distinct took place in Martinborough, on Saturday when Charles, fourth son of the late Mr Geo Busch and Mrs Busch, was married to Vera, daughter of Mr Thomas and the late Mrs Thomas, of Nelson. The bride was escorted by her brother. Mr Stan Thomas, while Mr Frank Busch attended his brother as best man. The ceremony was performed by the Rev J. Mann of Martinborough. The Wedding March was played by Mrs Mann. , v u < A reception was afterwards held at the residence of Mrs G. Busch, at Pirinoa In the evening a large number of friends and relatives were entertained by Mr and Mrs Busch. During the evening a presentation was made by Mr N. Hume, on behalf of the Tennis Club, to Mr Busch. The recipient suitably responded.
