N.Z. MAKES A NATIONAL EFFORT TOWARDS GREATER NATIONAL FITNESS

EROM TOMORROW, February 18, to February 25, special programmes have been arranged throughout New Zealand to stimulate interest in national physical and mental fitness. It is “Keep Fit” week everywhere—a week of devoting special attention to physical and culturabwelfare. Inaugurated by the National Council of Physical Welfare and Recreation, this effort to make our nation conscious of the need for keeping fit should appeal to all, and Masterton’s arrangements have been carefully made to secure the interest of the public-generally.
