MASTERTON "KEEP FIT"

Is the Slogan of Physical Fitness Week !

Masterton and the Wairarapa generally have excellent facilities for all classes of sport, and those who wish to improve their physical fitness can find ample opportunity for doing so by health-giving recreation. Throughout the district, clubs and associations foster their particular sport and pastime, and from that standpoint the Wairarapa probably bears comparison with any other district in New Zealand. Sports clubs generally in the Wairarapa are well established, and under able management, though there is still plenty of room for increased membership. In joining a club members find a ready, convenient and enjoyable means of promoting good health by securing physical fitness through the game or pastime they fancy.
