The autumn meeting of the Woodville District Jockey Club was opened today in fine weather. There are good fields to face the starter. Mataroa won by three lengths. Bumble was a length further away. Time, 2.9 1-5. WOODVILLE HANDICAP. Ijm. Lady Furst. 7.13 1 Dungarvan. 9.0 2 Siegmund. 7.12 3 Scratched: Covroboree. Two lengths; half head. Time. 2.7. Dungarvan first favourite and Lady Furst second.
