JOCKEY’S SUSPENSION

APPEAL ALLOWED. (By Telegraph—Pless Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, February 14. The Taranaki District Committee tonight allowed the appeal of the jockey R. W. Savage against the two months’ suspension imposed by the judicial committee of the Stratford Racing Club for starting from the wrong barrier position in the Kaponga Hack Handicap on the second day of the Stratford race meeting on January 3.
