An announcement that further extensions of his company’s- plant in New Zealand were contemplated in consequence of the New Zealand Government's import regulations was made by F. B. Spencer, managing director of Nestles, Ltd., who arrived at Wellingby the Awatea on a fortnight's business visit to the ‘Dominion. The company, said Mr Spencer, would be extending its milk factory in Invercargill and its chocolate factory in Auckland. ‘’We have been manufacturing in New Zealand for many years,” he added, •’and are now importing only raw materials. Except for - one line, we are really selfcontained here.”
