CHEAPER VEGETABLES
PRICES CRASH IN SYDNEY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright SYDNEY. February 13. The “Sun”.says that prices of some vegetables crashed on the Sydney market today, resulting in the best beans and peas retailing at sixpence a lb. Carrots and swedes also slumped to half last week’s price. Potatoes dropped from £25 Io £2l a ton.
