MOTOR ACCIDENTS

MASTERTONIANS INJURED. FOUR TAKEN TO HOSPITAL. Two persons were admitted to the Wellington Public Hospital yesterday with fractured fight thighs when the motor-cycle which they were riding collided with a motor-car on the Kaitoke Hill at 2 p.m. The driver of the motor-cycle. Mr Harold Frank Vaughan, farm labourer. Masterton. received a fractured right thigh and a severely lacerated wound on the right knee, and the pillion rider, Miss Hope Ihaka, domestic. Nursery Road, Masterton, received a compound fracture of the right thigh and shock. Both were taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. Following a collision between a motor-cycle and a motor-car on the Pahautanui-Haywards Road about midday yesterday, W. Price, scholar, West Bush Aoad. Masterton. received abrasions to the face and concussion. He was a pillion rider on the motor-cycle. The driver of the motor-cycle. Mr E. Boyes, labourer, West Bush Road, Masterton, received a fractured right forearm. Both were taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
