MASTERTON DAIRY CO.

JANUARY PRODUCTION SHOWS INCREASE. MEETING OF DIRECTORS. An increased production of 13,6021bs of butler for the month of January, as compared with the corresponding mon 111 of 1938, was reported to a meeting of the directors of the Masterton Co-operative Dairy Co, held this week. The chairman of directors, Mr J. C. Ewinglon, presided over a full attendance.

On account of the dry season, it was stated, there were indications of a rapid decrease in supplies. Unless rain set in very soon, a big drop in production was to be expected. Local sales for January amounted to 82,7461bs of butter which was an increase over the total for January last year.

It was decided to make a payout of Is- 2d for finest butterfat supplies received in January.
