ST. MATTHEW'S CHURCH
LADIES’ GUILD MEETING. ’ A special meeting of St. Matthew’s Ladies’ Guild was held in the Parish Hall yesterday to make arrangements for the annual Garden Party. By courtesy of Mrs F. Jackson the grounds of the beautiful home of the late Mrs Mace, The Terrace, Lansdowne, were placed at the disposal of the church for this function, which is to be held on Saturday, February 25. Stall-hold-ers were appointed and various attractive features arranged. The proceeds of the Garden Party are to be devoted to carrying out permanent improvements to the church and hall paths.
