PIPE BAND CONCERT

NEXT MONDAY'S ATTRACTION. In addition to the Wairarapa. College Pipe Band itself, and other piping items,, the following performers will take part in the concert to be held in the Opera House on Monday evening to raise funds to take the band to the Christchurch contest: Mrs Burke and Miss O’Donnell, and Messrs J. W. Bird and Drew (duets), MisSes D. Jamieson and Gillian Gooder and Messrs Ronald Gilbert and Wm C. Mann (solos), and Mrs Robert Miller (recitations). The accompaniments will be in the skilled hands of Mrs H. M. Morton. Mr F. Price will give a demonstration of his 'inimitable black-board sketching. Miss ; Edwards, of the College staff, is arranging three different dancing and drill performances by her girl pupils, and. of course, there will be the eightsome reel by the band boys and their partners. The dancers are prepared, also, by way of encore, to dance a Reel o’ Tulloch, should the audience demand it. The concert will unquestionably be of high quality throughout and a crowded Opera House is assured.
