FEARS OF BRONCHIAL PNEUMONIA. CARDINAL SCHUSTER ARRIVES IN ROME. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received This Day, 10.5 a.m ) ROME, February 9. The Pope collapsed at 4.45 p.m. and became unconscious. He was given an adrenal injection and revived at 5.15. It was stated,that he fell into a “restorative sleep,” but it was later reported that his condition was “extremely grave.” His physicians fear that bronchial pneumonia is .setting in. The holy sacraments have been brought to the Pope’s bedside. The Pope, was still sleeping at 6 p.m. His Holiness received his niece, the Marchese Ugplini, this morning, when he seemed to be bearing up well, but he collapsed in the afternoon as the result of a heart attack. Cardinal Schuster, who has been mentioned as the next Pope, has arrived in Rome.
