General situation: An anti-cyclone still covers northern New Zealand and the north Tasman Sea while a shallow depression is approaching across the south Tasman. Forecast: Light to moderate west to north-west winds, gradually freshening; weather fair at first but some scattered light rain developing during tomorrow and west of the ranges; temperatures rising.
