SWIMMING CARNIVAL

AT MASTERTON ON SATURDAY. Lower Hutt, Eketahuna and Greytown have this season staged successful swimming carnivals and next Saturday at the Dixon Street Baths the Masterton Club will hold its first carnival of the season. A lot of work is entailed in the organising of an event such as this, and the local members are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the success of Saturday night's meeting. With a nominal charge for admission there should be a large attendance of the public. Entries have been received from Palmerston North. Dannevirke, Lower Hutt, Wellington. Petone, Eketahuna, Greytown. Carterton. Pahiatua and Featherston swimmers.
