The “Daily Telegraph's” Berlin correspondent says Dr Schacht has declined a post as special commissioner for exports, despite pressure. Dr Schacht no longer wishes to be identified with the financial and economic policy of the Nazis and hopes to leave shortly for a year's world tour, but he may have to reconsider his refusal.
