Frost, 1.8 degrees. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 10 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today.
General situation: An anticyclone is located over Northern New Zealand while a rather shallow westerly depression is advancing from the South Tasman Sea on to the South Island. Forecast: Moderate to strong westerly 'to north-westerly winds. Weather fine to cloudy: temperatures moderate.
