DELICIOUS RECIPES. Almond and Celery.— Chop up a number of almonds and mix them with finely-chopped pieces of celery, adding salt and pepper. Make into a paste with a little cream and spread between buttered bread.

Raisin Filling—Mix together two tablespoons chopped seeded raisins, 1 table spoon chopped almonds, 1 teaspoon sugar and 1 tablespoon thick cream. Spread between slices of brown bread.

Club Paste—Mix together Jib minced ham, 1 dessertspoon chopped pickles, 3oz creamed butter, a little mustard, and salt and pepper to taste. Mock Crab Paste—Grate four tablespoons of cheese and mix with T tablespoon creamed butter, 1 teaspoon anchovy paste and a little pepper. Toasted Cheese.—Mash some cheese with a little Worcester sauce. Spread six thin slices of bread with the mixture, press them together and cut off the crusts. Toast the outside slices and cut downwards into slices with a sharp knife.
