The Chamber of Deputies unanimously adopted the Colonial Committee's resolution proclaiming that all parts of the French Empire, whether continental or. in overseas colonies or protectorates over which the French flag is flying, are placed under the safeguard of France’s sovereignty and cannot. be divided, shared or abandoned.
