FREEZING WORKERS
BASIS OF NEW AGREEMENT.
NO GENERAL WAGE INCREASE. (By Telegraoh—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. It was pointed out today, by the Secetary of the South Island Freezing Companies' Association that the freezing workers’ agreement, made at Wellington yesterday, was on the basis of the present award, with a few minor amendments and not. as previously announced, on the basis of a general wage increase.
