VISITING BOWLERS
MANAWATU CENTRE TEAM.
MATCHES IN MASTERTON AND CARTERTON.
Sixteen rinks representing the Manawatu Bowling Centre are visiting Masterton and Carterton today to take part in a contest with the Wairarapa Centre. This morning ten visiting links played Masterton and Park Club teams on the Park green while at Carterton six Manawatu rinks tried conclusions with Carterton players. This afternoon all the sixteen visiting rinks will be meeting the Wairarapa representatives on the Masterton Club’s green. The visitors were entertained' < at lunch at the Prince of Wales Hotel. *
On arrival at the Park green this morning a welcome was extended to -he visitors, on behalf of the Park Club, by Mr E. Bell. Mr J. A. Nash, president of the Manawatu Centre, replied.
